Parents on Long Island are trying to stop a deadly epidemic — drug use among teenagers.
On Thursday night they gathered at a school in Massapequa to learn how to take action before it’s too late.
Nassau County Police joined forces with parents in an effort to stop the growing drug problem. Police said heroin and prescription drug abuse is on the rise.
