Ameritox's RxGuardian Pain Prescription Monitoring provides information to help better manage your patients' chronic pain and help minimize risk to your practice. RxGuardian assists you in providing unparalled data for your patients and helps protect your practice from the risks associated with medications you prescribe.
The RxGuardian Advantage
RxGuardian monitors patient use of prescription medications. Unlike a typical lab test, RxGuardian uses a patented algorithm to personalize lab results specifically to your patients' demographics and prescription regimens.

The RxGuardian Report presents monitoring results for each patient. RxGuardian provides more highly sensitive and accurate results than a standard test report, giving you the most complete picture. RxGuardian:
- Determines compliance by comparing normalized values to established prescription-specific ranges.
- Identifies possible diversion and supplementation of prescribed medications.
- Identifies potentially dangerous drug-to-drug interactions.
- Provides and explains personalized results for each patient.

Practice Profile. You receive an overview of non-compliance for your practice. You’ll know specifically how patients are not complying, what percent of patients are not complying, and how your practice compares to national averages.
AutoReminder Service. Based on the physician's protocol, Ameritox will randomly select your pain patients to be monitored by RxGuardian. We take the guesswork out of determining which patients to select. Ameritox makes it easy to outsource your randomization to us, an independent third-party.
Toxicology Hotline. Only Ameritox offers dedicated Toxicologists to assist in interpreting RxGuardian Reports.
Ameritox UPS Hotline. UPS's Preferred Customer Service number is staffed by highly trained individuals, available from 6:00am - 9:00pm (CST) Monday through Saturday. UPS can identify and solve key concerns, as well as quickly schedule pickups.
Drug Encyclopedia. This encyclopedia is a detailed reference about the medication types monitored for, including pertinent information such as how long they stay in the body. It also offers possible reasons for negative and positive outcomes, as well as other helpful insights.
