Rebecca Santiano hit rock bottom. She was pregnant, homeless and addicted to opiates. During the peak of winter, she slept in 24-hour laundromats, moving from one to another during the night when employees asked her to leave.
“I was eight months pregnant, and I was living on the streets,” she said. “Just me being pregnant and having nowhere to go — that’s when I knew I had to get help.”
